Simplicity and personality
Nova Type Foundry is the digital foundry of Portuguese designer Joana Correia. It is an e-commerce with a very simple structure and navigation but with a lot of personality. Typefaces are the protagonists and access to the different specimens is intentionally fast. The typographic catalog page has a simple game using the accelerometer of cell phones.
We wanted the Nova Type Foundry website to reflect Correia’s creative spirit. A vision of type design, very technical, but at the same time very human, that leaves its own space to intuition.
