A pioneer of typography
Typerepublic is the digital foundry of Andreu Balius, one of the pioneers of typography in Spain. His website and brand are a professional and vital statement of Andreu’s work and philosophy of life. For that reason, we tried to let Andreu’s work take center stage with a minimum of intervention on our part.
Fast and intuitive navigation
Navigation through the type foundry is fast and intuitive, with the possibility of quick access to the different typefaces. The website has a blog with a double structure for longer articles and shorter news and a page where Typerepublic’s typefaces are shown, implemented in projects of designers who use them in a dynamic and flexible way.
At the studio we don’t feel Typerepublic is simply a digital type foundry. It is the vital and professional philosophy of Andreu Balius, his homeland and his refuge.
